Friday November 28, Delhi - Ahmedabad

The flight was smooth and comfortable and flew over what is possibly the western Hindukush mountains, a very picturesque scenery but hard to capture from 30,000 ft through an airplane window.










We were booked though to Ahmedabad as was our luggage, so we proceeded on to the departure gate for our Ahmedabad flight upon arrival at Delhi.

The flight from Delhi to Ahmedabad was late by 30 minutes and landed at around 8:00 PM. The flight was uneventful and a tasty dinner was served.

We cleared customs and immigration quickly but our luggage took a very long time to show up. We were met outside by a rep from Gujarat Trails, with a Toyota Innova and its driver Jagdish, and driven to the Four Points Sheraton, where we will be staying two nights.

The hotel was well managed and there was free wifi in the restaurant and the lobby, which turned out to be pretty much the norm around here.

Jagdish and his Innova will be with us during the duration of our entire trip within Gujarat.












We discussed the next day's schedule and decided on 9:00 am as the target time for starting the sightseeing.
